Check the signatures on a PDF against the live EU trusted list.

What it establishes, and what it does not

This service verifies the electronic signatures on a PDF document and establishes whether a signature is qualified (QESig) or advanced (AdESig) under EU law.

What it checks

That the document is intact across the range the signature covers.
That the signature verifies cryptographically (CMS/PKCS#7).
That the signer’s issuing CA appears in the live EU trusted list, and that the anchor’s key actually signed the certificate — not merely that the names match.
The certificate’s QCStatements, which decide the qualification.

What it establishes, and what it does not
